The Flautist - Kylie E. Barnes
Kylie is a professional flautist and flute teacher with many years of experience in both ensemble playing and solo performances.
Whether desired to perform solo or with her harpist, Kylie can offer bespoke services to couples planning their marriage; helping them add an extra touch of class to their special day.
The Harpist - Janice Beven
Janice has many years experience playing orchestral, solo, and chamber music with most of the major London orchestras, including a 2 year position as the principal harpist for the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
She is available to accompany the flute, or perform harp solos in both a classical and contemporary style.

Choosing the Music
Our repertoire consists primarily of light traditional classical and modern music. We aim to add a touch of class to make your day even more special. Harmonie can arrange all of the music for the other parts of the day.
The Bride and Groom can personally select the music for the main part of the Ceremony; that is the Bridal Entrance, Signing of the Register and the Bridal Exit. We can easily accommodate up to two special pieces for the Signing of the Register (depending on the suitability of the music).
Music can be played as your guests are arriving, during the Bridal Procession, to accompany the Signing of the Register and for the Final Procession.

Hymns
If you are having a church ceremony, it is usually best to have the resident organist play your hymns. However, we are able to play some hymns providing we have them in our repertoire.

The Harp and Flute can be the perfect complement to all parts of your Wedding Day. Please consider the following three typical options for your Wedding Day:
The Ceremony (music as guests arrive; bridal entrance, signing of the register; exit of bride, groom and guests) (usually up to one hour)
The Drinks Reception (up to 2 hours maximum playing time)
The Wedding Breakfast (up to 2 hours maximum playing time)
Where are you based and how far do you travel?
We work together in a 25 mile radius of Blackheath, London, SE3. If you are outside of this area we will have to add a little extra to cover our mileage.
We are based in South East London. We take bookings in London, Sussex, Surrey and Kent. We are happy to travel if you are outside of these areas. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Can we choose our own music?
We offer a free consultation with all of our clients about the specific music ideas and choices available. All we ask for is that you bear in mind that not all repertoire is suitable for the harp and flute. We have an extensive selection of suitable classical repertoire and alternative music. Listen to samples of our music.
What else can you tell us about your services?
We perform in Licenced venues including Registry Offices, Hotels, Castles and in Churches.
We always arrive in plenty of time. We ensure that the music we play exceeds your expectations. We also take great pride in our appearance for your special day.
The flute and harp are acoustic instruments; in short, they need no additional amplification, and as such, are relatively portable. The only consideration is that if we are to play outside, the harp needs to have a flat surface to be positioned on and be protected from the elements.
How do we arrange your services?
Our prices are competitive and will be reflected in the individual services you require.
A booking fee will be required to confirm your booking. Once your booking fee is received, the date will be confirmed. The remaining fees will become payable 28 days prior to the wedding date.
Bookings are made on a first come, first served basis once the booking fee has been received. If you would like more details or to check our availability, please contact us.
